BTW 010 – Santa Claus, Christmas, and Pen Names!

Hello, fellow earthlings!  How are you?  I am good.  Last week, my parents went to Florida WITHOUT ME!  Can you believe that?  But…anyways, they brought me back some really cool presents:  A Geo-Light, a pack of Bazooka Bubblegum and a roll of rainbow duct tape!  Later today I am going to make wallets out of the duct tape with my mom, which will be fun!  Now, let’s get looking at the Post of the Week!

Fun Facts & Joke of the Week!

Fun Fact No. 1

Santa Claus is also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Grandfather Frost and Kris Kringle.

Fun Fact No. 2

Santa’s ninth reindeer was originally named Rolo and then Reginald, before Robert L. May settled on Rudolph in his 1939 song “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.”

Fun Fact No. 3

In Germany, mistletoe has a strange name which is “Dung on a Twig.”  Mistletoe got this name because a bird called the Mistlethrush eats the berries, digests the seeds, and then leaves droppings, which eventually grow into new mistletoe plants!

Joke of the Week!

Joke Man:  What is white and red and goes up and down, up and down, up and down and up and down?

Sadie:  I don’t know Mr. Joke Man.

Joke Man:  Santa Claus playing with buttons in an elevator!
